I just finished up an amazing weekend at my Get Courageous Seminar and I can’t tell you how happy I am to be walking in my purpose. God has given me the call to teach women all over the world to overcome fear and find their purpose in life, and Get Courageous is one of my vehicles to do just that. But more then anything I am extremely proud of and grateful to all the women who attended. To see them have their “Aha!” moment and realize something that they had never realized before is so amazing and powerful all at the same time. It took a lot of courage to be vulnerable in a room full of women they didn’t know, but they did it and it was amazing! Read more

Listen up ladies! What we are going to talk about today is so important. The things you will learn in this article can actually affect the way you look at yourself and the way you relate to yourself. First, there are some serious questions I need to ask you. Do you have feelings of worthlessness? Do you struggle with a lack of self-confidence, or self-doubt? Have your current or past circumstances clouded your vision so much that you can’t see that you are truly meant for great things in this life? Well if the answer is yes to any of these questions I know exactly how you feel. I know a lot about feeling unworthy by the sheer act of living my life each day. I know what it feels like to think you are all alone in your struggles to succeed. But through my struggles to become who God has intended me to be I have learned I am more than enough. However it takes time, practice, and patience. It’s a continuous process. Read more

How To Put Yourself First

Posted on by Kiki Ramsey in Self Help Leave a comment

I am super excited about today’s message. I am going to be talking about putting yourself first! It may seem like a foreign concept considering the many responsibilities you probably have, but it’s something you must pay attention to because you are the most important asset in your life. It’s easy to take care of other people and meet their needs but it’s hard to put the emphasis on you. However, when you put yourself first you truly begin to recognize the value you have.

I used to think I was super woman. I would run all around town doing things for other people – my family included, but I never had time for myself. I remember coming home one day so exhausted that I fell asleep in my clothes. My husband Jamil had to wake me up to tell me to put on my pajamas and get into bed. All the things I was doing were for other people and I had a problem saying no. I thought if I said no, they would not like me. I realized that even if that were the case, I couldn’t keep up the act any longer. Something had to give. Compromising my health and sanity to please everyone else was not worth it. Read more

Are You Tired of Being the Victim?

Posted on by Kiki Ramsey in Self Help Leave a comment

This week I really want to talk to you about a topic you might not want to hear about. Someone once called me out on this and it didn’t feel good, but I believe that sometimes we have to be called out especially if we are displaying behaviors that may negatively affect our future. Today I’m calling out the victim mentality. If you’re not suffering from this I’m sure you know someone who could fit this role. Having the victim mentality means blaming other people for things that go wrong in your life or never taking responsibility when bad things happen.  Put simply, nothing is ever your fault. How To Find Your True Purpose In Life

Posted on by Kiki Ramsey in Inspirational, Self Help 2 Comments

I hope you are having an amazing week. I want to tell you something that may be appalling to you – most women do not know their purpose in life! This is shocking to me because that means there are smart, talented women out there struggling with why they were placed here on Earth, or what to do while they’re here. I know from personal experience how difficult this can be. Some years ago, I had no clue as to what my purpose was. The question I kept asking myself was “Why am I here?” I desperately wanted to know. Then one day it all clicked for me and I’m going to explain exactly how that can happen for you. But first I must tell you that the key to me finding my purpose was that I chose to never give up; this is true for you too. I decided to be very persistent about finding my purpose, and one day I realized that everything I had experienced in my life, especially my difficulties, led me to  it. I recognized that I was supposed to help women all over the world overcome the fear that paralyzes them and help them unleash the power within themselves. This was so freeing to me but I then had to figure out the best way to do it. I was already drawn to speaking and working with women one-on-one to overcome difficult challenges in their lives so naturally this is where I thought I should start. I went to school to become a social worker for that reason.  Read more
