I believe you are where you are because of what you think, period! I know this might seem like a bold statement but it’s what I believe. I know for a fact that mindset can either hinder a person’s progress or it can propel them forward.
Let me give you an example. I had a client that thought so badly of herself. She would always put herself down and she never had anything positive to say about her life.
Then I started doing some mindset coaching with her. I taught her how to see the good in herself and her life. I asked her to change her thoughts to positive every time she would start thinking negative. At first she was skeptical if this method would work but as she began to practice she started seeing things change in her life.
Her relationships got better, she began enjoying the time she spent with herself and her job even became more enjoyable. So what was the real change in this situation? My client began changing her mindset. She began seeing the good and only focusing on the good in her in situation.
Now does this mean all her problems went away? No, she still had problems to deal with but she chose to focus on the good in her life verses the bad. I firmly believe you get more of what you focus on.
So what does this mean for you? It means that your mindset and what you think about on a consistent basis has everything to do with your level of success.
