Well another year has come and gone. I’m sure if you are like me you have taken some time to reflect on 2016. My 2016 was a very exciting year! I started the year off coaching and speaking for my clients like always, which is what I love to do the most. I started a graduate school program to get a second master’s degree and my hubby and continued our mission to get pregnant and have a baby (yes even though we have a 21 year old son).
I am happy to report that my coaching and speaking business grow drastically. I got to speak for some amazing organizations and coach some extraordinary women! I graduated school with my Master’s in Positive Psychology (yay)! I can’t wait to share more of my positive psychology techniques with you this coming year. And the biggest and best blessing of them all is that I am now pregnant and we are expecting a little baby girl May 2017! So when I say 2016 was exciting I really meant it!
I really hope your 2016 was as amazing as mine was but even if you don’t have a lot of excitement to report I still pray that your overall year was blessed despite any challenges you might have faced.
Every year I sit down to plan out my year and during my session I try to come up with an overall theme for the year. This is just a simple statement that I try to live my year by. It is so helpful and I find that it guides some of my decision making throughout the year.
Well this year God downloaded to me that this was my year of “faith and works”. In James 2:14-26 it says “faith without good works is dead”. I love that God gave me this because He knows I’m moving into a new season of my life with being a entrepreneur and a new mommy and I’m going to need all the faith I can get but I’m still going to have to put in the work because my clients need me as well.
So I invite you to join in with my in my theme for the year or create your own. The only thing I’m concerned about it that you vow to make 2017 your best year yet!
Here’s to your success!
Today’s Shareable Message: James 2: 14-26 “Faith without good works is dead”. So in 2017 let’s keep the faith and work hard to do good works!
